Amendment IV

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

Friday, the Senate voted by 60-28 to suspend the constitution "for six months" and make legal the criminal acts the administration has committed by willfully ignoring FISA, giving President Bush expanded authority to eavesdrop on foreign terrorists without court warrants.

The following Democratic senators are now co-conspirators with the administration. 7 did not vote. 16 voted yes, with the Republicans.

That's right. Had these 23 voted with the 27 who voted no, they would have beaten the 43 Republicans and Joe Lieberman who voted yes.

Their first official duty is to swear to uphold the constitution.
Yes, we know. National Security. Terrorism. 911. Spinelessness. Cowardice. Shame.
